TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility

  • Studio bookings must be made by individuals 18 years or older.

  • Minors may enter the studio only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Parents or guardians must remain present at all times.

  • Klip Studio is not a childcare facility and children may not be left unattended.

2. Session Time & Overtime

  • Studio sessions begin and end at the scheduled booking time.

  • Session time includes: setup, recording, breakdown, and cleanup.

  • Clients must vacate the studio at the scheduled end time.

  • If a session exceeds the booked time, overtime will be charged at the applicable hourly rate to the payment method on file.

  • Klip Studio reserves the right to enforce session end times to ensure availability for other bookings.

3. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on the premises:

 

  • Nudity

  • Pornographic or adult content production

  • Illegal activity of any kind

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Alcohol possession or consumption

  • Smoking or vaping inside or outside the premises

  • Recording individuals without consent

  • Copyright infringement

  • Excessive noise, shouting, or disruptive behavior that interferes with other active sessions in adjacent rooms


Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

4. Studio Conduct, Noise & Security

  • ​Visitors must follow all studio safety and operational rules.

  • Clients are responsible for the behavior of all guests they bring.

  • All rooms share the facility. Clients must maintain reasonable noise levels at all times. Loud music, shouting, or disruptive behavior that can be heard in other rooms is strictly prohibited.

Everyone is recording.

  • Visitors must close and secure doors when entering or exiting.

  • Unauthorized persons must not be allowed into the facility.

  • Clients must follow all posted studio instructions.

5. Equipment & Property Responsibility

  • Clients may only operate equipment in accordance with the instructions provided by Klip Studio (posted in-room, emailed, or communicated at booking).

  • Clients must not tamper with, adjust, or attempt to modify any studio equipment, cameras, lighting systems, audio gear, or wiring beyond normal intended use.

  • Computers, servers, network equipment, and any backend infrastructure are private property and off-limits. Clients must not touch, access, open, or interact with any computers, server hardware, networking gear, or Klip Studio back-end systems under any circumstances.

  • Clients are fully responsible for any damage caused to equipment during their session, including: cameras, lenses, microphones, lighting, monitors and TVs, furniture, walls, and studio sets.

  • Klip Studio reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for any verified damages.​

The client will be billed at the full replacement or repair cost.

6. Photography Cyc Wall & Studio Surfaces

  • The white cyc wall (photography infinity wall) must be kept clean at all times.

  • Clients must not step on, scuff, mark, or walk along the curved base or sides of the cyc wall.

  • Shoes must be removed before stepping onto the cyc wall surface. Socks or bare feet only.

  • Any scuffs, marks, or damage to studio walls, floors, or painted surfaces caused during a session will be subject to a repair or repainting fee in addition to any cleaning fees.

7. Cleaning Requirements

  • The studio must be returned to its original condition at the end of every session.

  • This includes: props returned to their original positions, trash removed, surfaces wiped down, bathrooms left clean and orderly.

  • Failure to leave the studio in clean condition may result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee charged to the payment method on file.

  • Additional charges may apply if repairs, touch-up painting, or specialized cleaning are required.

  • Bathroom facilities are shared and must be left in a clean and respectful condition after every use.

8. Personal Property

  • Klip Studio is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or unattended personal belongings.

  • Clients are advised not to leave valuables unattended in the studio at any time.

9. Technical Disclaimer

  • Due to the nature of technology and automated recording systems, Klip Studio does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, Wi-Fi connectivity, or perfect recording performance.

  • Clients are responsible for monitoring their recordings during sessions. Klip Studio is not liable for missed, corrupted, or incomplete recordings caused by technical issues, power interruptions, internet outages, or equipment malfunctions.

  • Internet and Wi-Fi access is provided as a courtesy and is not guaranteed. Klip Studio is not responsible for internet outages, slow speeds, or service interruptions.

10. File Storage & Delivery

  • Media recordings are typically stored for approximately 14 days after the session.

  •  After that period, files may be permanently deleted without notice.

  • Clients are solely responsible for downloading and backing up their recordings.

  • Klip Studio is not responsible for any files that are deleted, lost, or unrecoverable after the 14-day storage window.

11. Communications & Notifications

  • By booking a session, clients consent to receive transactional SMS messages and emails related to their booking, including confirmations, door access codes, session reminders, and file delivery notifications.

  • Clients may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting info@theklipstudio.com.

  • Transactional messages (door codes, booking confirmations, file delivery) are required for session access and cannot be fully opted out of while using the studio.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Klip Studio's total liability for any claim arising out of a studio session shall not exceed the amount paid for that applicable session.

  • Klip Studio is not liable for: technical failures, lost or deleted recordings, internet outages, equipment malfunctions, injury or illness on premises, or loss of personal property.

  • Clients use the facility and its equipment at their own risk.

13. Policy Updates

  • Klip Studio reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time without prior notice.

  • Continued use of the facility following any policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

  •  The most current version of these policies will be available at the time of booking.

14. Damage Fee Schedule

Replacement Values (subject to actual cost):

  • Camera body: up to $1,500

  • Lens: up to $800

  • Microphone: up to $300

  • Audio mixer/recorder: up to $700

  • Monitor: up to $400

  • Lighting fixture: up to $350

  • TV (65"): up to $800

  • Wall repair (White Wall): minimum $500

  • Cleaning fee: minimum $250

Clients may be charged for verified damages.

15. SimplyBook.me

SimplyBook.me acts as the booking supplier to Klip Studio, processing personal data in accordance with their Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement.
